Ohio Bobblehead Connect's Fall Convention: October 15, 2017

AKRON, Ohio - A Bobblehead convention will be held Sunday, Oct. 15, at the Carovillese Lodge & Club in Akron.
The buy-display-sell event is noon to 5 p.m. The club is at 570 E. Cuyahoga Falls Ave., Akron.
Sponsors include the Akron RubberDucks and Akron Racers.
Admission will be $5. Tables will be available for rent for those wishing to display bobbleheads.
The event will include a "Bobble Wife Raffle." Any woman who walks through the door will be entered for a chance to win non bobble-related items.
A silent auction will be held, cash bar will be open, and mascots are expected to attend. Organizers are trying to procure a food truck. A rep says the Browns-Texans game should be on television.
Bobbleheads cover a range of sports, teams, stars and entertainers. About 60 people turned out for the group's bobble con in February.
