If there has ever been a day with a more creative and eclectic bunch of bobblehead giveaways, we can’t recall it. You’ve got a great 4th of July time of year, America themed Khris Davis from the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers. Then there is the flame throwing Yordano Ventura from the Wilmington Blue Rocks. Last, in terms of actual ballplayers is the throwback Andy Pettitte Empire State Yankees from the Rochester Red Wings.
Then we cross over into the absurd with the Lakewood BlueClaws Pork Roll bobble-waist. If you aren’t from the Philadelphia area then you might not know how sacred the pork roll, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich is around those parts. This Pork Roll is one of 3 coming out this season from the BlueClaws. Only July 25th the egg bobble comes out. Followed by the cheese bobble on August 17th. Rounding out today’s bobbleheads are the Northwood League mascot mainstays: Woody the Woodchuck (fishing this time) of the Wisconsin Woodchucks, and Malking Dead Maynard of the Madison Mallards.
Like we said at the beginning…quite a collection of bobble SGAs today, right!?!?
