“ Star Wars, Finding Dory, Gold Mining…Oh My! ”
Best Item of the Day
There is a collection of amazing themed bobbleheads (and a coffee pot globe) that all qualify as must haves for any diehard SGA collector. First, the Giants, in regular fashion, have partnered to promote an upcoming movie, Finding Dory. Creative, original, great use of the movie theme and character, and sitting atop a half baseball. Really great concept piece here. Next up, the never ending run of Star Wars themed player bobbleheads continues. This time, the Mariners are up with a Taijuan “Sky” Walker piece. His name plays perfectly for the Star Wars theme, so kudos to them for putting together a very nice addition to the Star Wars collection (what are there, like 173 Star Wars bobbleheads now!). Last but certainly not least, is our favorite piece of the day. The Nolan Arenado “mining for gold gloves” bobblehead. It’s a great idea for a bobblehead and puts a nice twist on the traditional “stack of gold gloves” versions all around the league. It also plays into their retail series of Arenado adventure bobbleheads that were released month by month this season. Fortunately for SGA fans, this one is a giveaway and not a retail piece.
