Washington Nationals – Jayson Werth and Pet Figurine
Tonight there will be a figurine giveaway featuring Jayson Werth and his Great Dane, Magnus. Presumably, it will not commemorate the time Magnus peed on the Nationals logo in the clubhouse. It’s also a good bet that Werth’s mouth will be closed. The Werth-Magnus figurine isn’t the only player-pet promotion in the area this summer. On Aug. 20, the Potomac Nationals are giving away bobbleheads of pitcher Gio Gonzalez and his French bulldog, Stitch. (Source: Washington Post)
