On June 23, 1984, Ryne Sandberg cemented his place in Cubs history with two game-tying home runs and 7 RBI in an epic win against the St. Louis Cardinals. On the 40th anniversary of “The Sandberg Game,” the Cubs will unveil a statue of Hall of Famer Ryne Sandberg at Statue Row. To commemorate the occasion, the first 10,000 fans to enter the ballpark will also receive a bobblehead replica of the statue.
