Captain America: Civil War hits theaters this weekend and on the heels of an epic Star Wars return this past year…we figured these two items were both worthy of special mention. The Giants, ever vigilant in pumping out theme-night items relevant to the day, have this nice Captain America bobblehead for special ticket holders only tonight. We can just imagine people now customizing this one with some Giants logos on the shield of mask. Then there is the mascot/Star Wars/vehicle bobblehead mashup from the Cincinnati Reds today as well. While the Giants Captain America is a special ticket holder only SGA (the VIP experience tickets are sold out, but special tickets are still available), the Reds Mr. Redlegs X-Wing bobblehead is for the first 25,000 fans through general admission.
So special-ticket holders get the Captain America bobblehead…but what if you’re even fancier than that? Then the VIP-ticket is for you! Not only do you get the Captain America bobblehead, but you also score this limited edition Giants themed Marvel print! In addition to all of that…VIP ticket holders ALSO get BOTH of the Crawford bobbleheads (see below).
*Hats off as usual to the Giants for not making regular fans feel like losers when there is an awesome special-ticker holder giveaway. For those fans not willing or able to shell out hundreds of dollars for the family to get the VIP experience or special ticket Captain America bobblehead, you will have your chance to get either a Gold Glove OR Silver Slugger Brandon Crawford bobblehead. That’s right, there are a total of 3 different Giants bobbleheads coming out tonight.
So what’s your favorite…superhero or Star Wars? Lucky for you, today you don’t have to choose. That is, so long as you’re willing to fork out the cash for both! The crossover appeal of SGA items, especially bobbleheads, like these will certainly drive up the price. Especially for the very limited release Giants Captain America.
