Arizona Diamondbacks

To say there are a lot of baseball cap giveaways across the MLB every year would be an understatement.  Next to t-shirts, caps are the #2 giveaway item in terms of sheer D Backs Hat Giveaway 44quantity.   However, the Diamondbacks have one this year that stood out for us.  Their Paul Goldschmidt cap is our top D-Backs pick because of two reasons.  One…Goldschmidt is an absolute beast and should bounce back from the injury that cut his 2014 campaign short this season.  He is projected to crush 30 HR’s and put up another 100 runs/100 RBI season just like he did in 2013.  Beyond his sheer impressiveness on the field, this is one stylish hat design to boot.

Colorado Rockies

Rockies Mullet hat GiveawayFor the Rockies, it came down to high-brow vs. low-brow in our decision to pick their best giveaway this season.  In the low-brow category, you Rockies T Shirt Giveawayhave a Jack Links sponsored “mullet-hat”.  In the high-brow category, you have t-shirt with a graphic that is downright witty and fun.  We went with the witty t-shirt.  Sorry mullet fans (FREAKS!).  Troy Tulowitzki seeks to somehow avoid his annual, injury induced power outage this year and play a full season for the first time in a long time.  He’s coming up just shy of 10 years in a Rockies uniform; which is a testament not only to his abilities, but also how well liked he is in Colorado.  Just to appease the masses we have also posted a picture of the runner-up mullet-cap below too!

Los Angeles Dodgers

The Dodgers are prolific stadium giveaway franchises.  2015 is no exception to that rule with LA scheduled to give away over 30 items.  Kershaw Fleece Blanket GiveawayTeams like this make it tough to zero in on a best item for the season, but we think we correctly picked ours.  There may be lots of player bobbleheads, a 1965 World Series replica ring, and the obligatory West coast Hello Kitty item…but we went with a fleece blanket.  Not some crappy fleece blanket from The Gap or anything like that, but a Clayton Kershaw fleece blanket showcasing some of his 2014 stats that are downright nasty!  Those numbers demanded our selection for this item as the best LA is offering this season.

San Francisco Giants

Everybody knows the Giants only win World Series in even years these days.  So fans will have to wait till next year for another championship.  In the meantime, there are too Buster Posey Bank Giveawaymany stadium giveaways and special event items to count at AT&T Park this season.  The “Posey Bank” caught our eye and nabs the top spot this season for this enviable franchise.  If Giants fans ever decide to go all Scott Cousins on this thing to get at their loot someday, there won’t even be any traumatic flashbacks since it doesn’t have any legs!  Buster Posey can hit for average and clobbers HR’s with ease.  He has twice eclipsed the 20 HR mark in his short career.  No small feat for a catcher (only 7 catchers in the MLB hit 20 or more HR’s last season).  This giveaway is only for fans aged 14 and under.  So if you’re a grown-up and want a Posey Piggy Bank, definitely plan to bring the kids to this game.  Or pay someone else’s kid off in the parking lot after the game for theirs.  You end up with a Posey bank and they learn a lesson in supply and demand.  Everybody wins!

San Diego Padres

The team may have made a slew of big off-season moves to improve their roster this year, but on the stadium giveaway front…not tooimpressive at all.  No bobbleheads to speak of.  No creative or unique items.  Just a handful of run of the mill items.  The two standouts are replica jerseys.  And since these are the only two items worthwhile it seems all season in San Diego, we decided to pick them both.  One replica jersey is a military camo style and the other is a throwback.  Both are equally nice items.
