Seattle Mariners – Mariners Beard Hat

The Mariners started the beard-beanie hat trend a few seasons back and it looks like they’re pulling a repeat performance tonight.  A few other teams have picked up on the trend, most recently the Iowa Cubs with a Jake Arrieta beard hat.  It’s fun and if you’ve paid attention, there has been a growing trend with hair related SGAs lately.  Bobble-beards to Chia-beards/hair, crazy hair visors, you name it…teams and their fans love a ballplayer with some defining folicular (that is a real word…trust us!) features.

  “ This is no time to Panik ! ”

Best Item of the Day

San Francisco Giants – Joe Panik Backpack 

Before injuring his back, Panik was set to have a breakout season in 2015. Just like his fellow middle infielder, Crawford, Panik was named a 2015 All-Star, which was also the first All-Star selection of his career. Overall for the 2015 season, he hit .312 with eight home runs, 37 RBI, and he finished with a .378 on-base percentage and .455 slugging percentage.

Panik is already such a talented hitter, because he can impact a game offensively in so many ways. He can hit for average, he can hit to all parts of the field, he has a good two-strike approach, he works the pitch count, and he even has a little pop in his bat. Defensively, he’s just as talented too, as he could’ve won a Gold Glove Award if he had stayed healthy.

  “ What’s Your Bobble-Fam Look Like? ”

Best Item of the Day

Quite a lineup today; to start, there are 10 different bobblehead SGAs .  Including 2 double-bobbles, a Cooperstown legend in the form of Babe Ruth, a “Halfway-to-Halloween” monster Moya, a “Moose”takas bobble-antler, a superhero SuperVotto, a wall-catch, a vintage bobble boy, a golden bobble, and one plain old boring bobble (sorry Matt Duffy…but everyone knows the Giants do the most and the widest variety of bobbles, so don’t take too much offense).

Now that is a list if we ever saw one.  Not to mention the replica jerseys, tshirts, posters and schedules, a Bleacher Creature, a toothbrush holder, a World Series replica trophy…you’re just going to have to scroll down today’s Daily SGA Rundown below and take a look for yourselves!
